Compassionate support for pet parents, without replacing medical care
Paws & Peace exists to support pet parents through one of the most emotionally complex experiences of their lives: loving an animal through aging, illness, end-of-life decisions, and loss. We provide non-medical emotional support and self-guided grief resources designed to help individuals feel less alone, more grounded, and better supported during difficult moments — while keeping medical care where it belongs: with licensed veterinary professionals.
Our Approach
At Paws & Peace, we believe that emotional support and education matter — especially when decisions feel heavy and time feels short.
Our services are intentionally designed to:
- Offer calm, reflective emotional support
- Provide clear, accessible grief education
- Create space for processing without pressure or urgency
- Reduce overwhelm through structure, tools, and guidance
- Respect boundaries between emotional support and medical care
We do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. Instead, we focus on the human side of the experience — listening, grounding, and helping clients navigate emotions alongside their veterinary care.
What We Do (and What We Don’t)
We provide:
- Non-medical emotional support conversations
- Self-guided grief and end-of-life preparation resources
- Educational tools and reflection exercises
- Non-clinical care coordination
We do not provide:
- Veterinary care or medical advice
- Therapy, counseling, or diagnosis
- Crisis or emergency services
Paws & Peace is designed to complement, not replace, professional medical and mental health care.

About the Founder
Founded by a Registered Nurse with experience in healthcare and end-of-life advocacy, Paws & Peace was created after witnessing the emotional complexity families navigate during times of transition — and recognizing that pet parents often face these moments with little structured support.
Through firsthand experience working with individuals and families during emotionally charged moments, the founder saw how often people needed time, validation, and gentle guidance, not more instructions or clinical information.
Paws & Peace was created to meet that need — thoughtfully, ethically, and with clear boundaries.
Ethics, Boundaries & Trust
We are committed to:
- Clear scope and transparent communication
- Respect for veterinary and medical professionals
- Privacy-conscious practices
- Payment clarity and fair policies
- Ethical, non-exploitative support
Every service includes written scope acknowledgment so clients understand exactly what we offer.
A Note for Clinics & Partners
Paws & Peace does not:
- Interfere with treatment plans
- Provide medical recommendations
- Access client medical records
Clinics may share Paws & Peace as an optional support resource. Clients engage independently and confidentially.
