Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Paws & Peace, we understand grief is unpredictable and plans can change. This policy exists to keep scheduling clear, protect dedicated time, and ensure each client is supported with care and consistency.

By purchasing or booking a service, you agree to the terms below.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1) General Policy (All Services)

Paws & Peace offers non-medical, non-clinical emotional support services and self-guided resources. We do not provide veterinary advice, medical interpretation, therapy/counseling, coaching, or crisis services.

Because services include time, preparation, and/or immediate delivery of materials, refunds may be limited depending on the type of service purchased.

2) Scheduled Calls (Emotional Support Calls / Sessions)

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a call, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • If you provide at least 24 hours’ notice, you may reschedule your call.
  • You may also request a credit toward a future session.

Late Cancellations

If a cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the session may be forfeited and is not eligible for a refund, as that time has been reserved for you.

No-Shows

If you miss your session without notice, it is considered a no-show and is not refundable.

3) Self-Guided Programs & Digital Resources

For any self-guided resources, downloadable materials, or digital access delivered by email or portal:

  • All sales are final once materials are delivered or access is provided.
  • We do not offer refunds for completed purchases of digital resources due to the nature of immediate delivery.

If you experience technical issues accessing your materials, please contact us and we will help you resolve the issue.

4) Bundles & Multi-Part Services

For packages, bundles, or services that include multiple components (such as a combination of resources + calls):

  • If your package includes scheduled sessions, cancellation terms follow the Scheduled Calls policy above.
  • If any materials have already been delivered or any sessions have been used, the package may not be eligible for a refund.

If you need support adjusting your schedule, we’re happy to work with you when possible.

5) Care Coordination Requests

If you submit a Care Coordination Request Form: there is no charge to submit a request. If Care Coordination is a good fit, we will reply with next steps, pricing, and scheduling options.

6) Refund Exceptions

In rare circumstances, refunds may be considered at Paws & Peace’s discretion, including:

  • Duplicate charges
  • System errors
  • Incorrect purchase due to a technical issue

Any approved refund will be issued back to the original payment method whenever possible.

7) How to Request a Cancellation or Reschedule

Please include your name, the service purchased, and your appointment date/time (if applicable).

8) Emergency / Crisis Disclaimer
Paws & Peace is not an emergency or crisis service. If you or your pet are in urgent need, please contact your veterinarian, local emergency services, or call/text 988 for immediate crisis support.
