Paws & Peace Support Services
Emotional Phone Support
Grief can be isolating — especially when the world expects you to “be okay” faster than your heart can catch up. These client-led calls offer a calm, non-clinical space to exhale, feel less alone, and take the next step with gentleness.
Paws & Peace provides non-medical, non-clinical emotional support and educational resources. Services are not a substitute for veterinary care, therapy/counseling, crisis services, or emergency support.
What Emotional Phone Support is
Emotional Phone Support is a short-term, structured option for pet parents who want steady support through anticipatory grief, end-of-life transitions, or the first month after loss.
This support creates weekly space to talk, process gently, and feel less alone — plus email-delivered resources you can return to anytime. You won’t be pushed to “move on,” make decisions quickly, or handle grief on someone else’s timeline.
What these calls can support
- anticipatory grief and the emotional “in between”
- guilt, overwhelm, fear, numbness, and grief waves
- finding steadier footing for the next 24–72 hours
- gentle coping structure (routines, grounding, small steps)
- honoring your pet and your bond in a way that feels true
This is a space to say the things you can’t always say out loud — with compassion, steadiness, and gentle structure.
Best for
- pet parents who want consistent support over several weeks
- overwhelm, guilt, fear, uncertainty, or emotional “spiraling”
- people who feel isolated because others don’t understand pet loss
- clients who want a weekly support space (without clinical care)
- families who want gentle tools between calls
